Corporate and Gifting

Artwork by native craftsmen of Chitrakathi, Gond, that are used as motifs to create stationery. This one is the waghoba lion motif

Indigenous crafts gives us a glimpse of glories past, to the time when art and the artisan were much revered. In different parts of the world, there is a movement towards supporting indigenous art forms, and we are so happy that the term Made in India encompasses a new relevance for the traditional crafts.

At EkiBeki, we work closely with the artisans, giving them the ability to develop modern designs with a more mainstream outlook on the traditions. Together, we use the artisans’ skills to create contemporary lifestyle accessories, because they now have access to urban market trends and technical inputs for consistent high quality products.

Be it the delicate Meenakari work, traditionally used to make agarbatti holders, pooja thalis or keychains, contemporised to huge wall murals, lighting and home decor. Or the golden grass tokri weavers using their skills to weave bracelets and necklaces as well. Some of our interesting projects include murals featuring Gond paintings from Madhya Pradesh, Chitrakathi from Maharashtra, Longpi black pottery planters & more.
